The 2026 GMC Sierra EV features a cabin designed with premium furnishings and comfortable seating for up to five passengers. It’s standard with CoreTec seat upholstery, which you can upgrade to premium leather-alternative seat upholstery for a more sophisticated look and feel on select trims. Cargo-hauling in the Sierra EV is made easy with its large truck bed and creative cargo solutions. The Sierra EV boasts a cargo volume of up to 57.3 cubic feet. The truck bed is 70.6 inches in length at the floor, making it ideal for hauling lumber, tools, or gear. Inside the cabin, you’ll find a 60/40 split-fold rear bench seat for stowing even more of your essentials. For smaller items, turn to the floor console, which comes with covered storage. With multiple 2026 GMC Sierra EV powertrains to choose from, you’ll find the capability that works best for your lifestyle. The Standard Range powertrain is included with the Elevation and Denali trims, and reaches a 283-mile maximum driving range and up to 605 horsepower. As you continue up the range ladder, you’ll find an Extended Range powertrain available for the Elevation and Denali that reaches up to 410 miles of range, while the AT4 Extended Range powertrain offers a slightly lower driving range — up to 390 miles. The top-of-the-line Max Range powertrain on the AT4 and Denali produces a maximum driving range of up to 478 miles. All Sierra EV powertrains are standard with dual-motor electronic four-wheel drive (e4WD), which delivers power to all four wheels at the same time.
When it comes to charging your Sierra EV, you have a variety of different options available. Charging with an 11.5-kilowatt Level 2 home charger is standard, but you can also opt for a 19.2-kilowatt Level 2 home charger. When charging the Max Range powertrain at an 800-volt public DC charging station, you can charge up to 116 miles in ten minutes. For top towing capabilities, turn to any trim equipped with an Extended Range powertrain — the Denali and Elevation can both tow up to 12,500 pounds, while the AT4 Extended Range tows slightly less — 12,300 pounds.
